Launching of Financial IT Case Competition

D.Net in association with Citi Foundation is going to organize country’s first ever “Financial IT Case Competition (FICC)”. In order to inaugurate the event D.Net and Citi Foundation organized a press conference at University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB) auditorium on June 17, 2009.

Launching ceremony of Protifolon, a new policy brief series of D.Net

D.Net and IDS (Institute of Development Studies), University of Sussex, UK jointly organised a launching ceremony of Protifolon, a new policy brief series on April 22, 2009. This policy brief highlights cutting edge thinking on the emerging issues affecting Bangladesh.
The first edition examines the Global Financial Crisis (GFC) in the context of trade, exports migration and remittances. It summarises recommendations for policy makers.

Workshop on Compliance and Practices of NGO Affairs Bureau Rules


D.Net (Development Research Network) under “Enhancing Professional Skill through Training (EPSTT)” programme organised a day long workshop on “Compliance and Practices of NGO Affairs Bureau (NGOAB) Rules” at Wings Centre, Dhanmondi, Dhaka on 6th June 2009. The objective of the workshop was to introduce participants with the standard practices and guidelines of NGOAB in order enrich their professional knowledge.
