Language is not only the most important tool for communication, but plays significant role in defining culture, nature, history, humanity and a civilization’s ancestry.
Like every other years, D.Net observed the Amar Ekushey and International Mother Language Day, paying glowing tributes to the martyrs of the Language Movement. Every member of the D.Net family participated in the rally and offered wreaths at the National Shaheed Minar to pay homage to the brave and spirited martyrs of the language movement who sacrificed their life for mother tongue. All staffs then attended the book stall of D.Net at Amar Ekushey Book Fair at the Bangla Academy premises.

This year the 25th Ekushey Grontho Mela was observed with a lot of pomp and splendour offering various publications for the book lovers and visitors. D.Net presents many books, CDs and various publications at the book fair. D.Net has been working for access to information through ICT for many years. On February 21, 2010 D.Net published two e-Books titled “Gender Unnayan Kosh-Volume 1” and “Narir Jonno Projukti” as the e-Book is easy to access, share and preserve.
